Our Mission
Our program facilitates services to families, children and individuals in need of counseling, group support and clinical services. We are determined to provide children with the proper tools to become strong leaders and to develop the appropriate skills necessary to avoid the pressures of youth. We strive to continue our goal to educate participants in the areas of social and emotional health, family interaction and leadership.
Our Staff
The agency’s staff consists of 18 full and part time staff members, in addition to volunteers and interns. Professionals on staff hold masters degrees in psychology, social work, counseling, education, and related disciplines. CCFC also provides internship opportunities for graduate students in these disciplines. CCFC staff members are knowledgeable of and well connected to the greater New Haven mental health professional community and can, if needed, refer special cases to psychologists, psychiatrists and medical specialists.
